Air Conditioners

What Is an Air Conditioner?

Air conditioners, also known as A/Cs, are units that’s process is to alter the properties of the air to a more favorable condition (conditioning the air). Air conditioning is also referred to any technology that can modify the condition of the air. The most common use of an air conditioner is to lower the temperature of the air inside your home, making your home more comfortable in the summer months.

Did You Know?

Modern air conditioners use the exact same operating principles and components as your refrigerator. The refrigerator in your kitchen uses energy to move heat away from the inside of the refrigerator, keeping everything inside of it chilled to a specified temperature. An air conditioner uses that same energy to move heat away from the inside of your home, keeping you cool even when the outside temperature is high.
