Thorne Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Inc., which started as Jim Thorne Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Inc., is a full service plumbing and HVAC company specializing in residential and light-commercial repair, service, and equipment replacement.

Jim & Sue Thorne started the company on August 1st, 1965. The office was located in the basement of their home until the mid-80’s when they purchased a building adjacent to their shop on Van Horn Avenue, and connected the two buildings with what is now the main office. The home office was a great place for Sue to balance the duties of office manager and mother of three boys.

Mike Thorne returned to work for the company following his graduation from Ferris State University in HVACR Engineering Technology in August of 1993, and is currently the president and owner of Thorne Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Inc.
